Salvia apiana (White sage, bee sage, or sacred sage) is an evergreen perennial shrub that is native to the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico, found mainly in the coastal sage scrub habitat of Southern California and Baja California, on the western edges of the Mojave and Sonoran deserts.
California White Sage is one of the most sacred herbs among indigenious North American people. Used in ritual, cremonies or just for cleansing. Each smudge stick is 4"Long or more and aproximately 1 1/4" Wide.
The ritual of burning herbs, is done to clear a space or person of negative energies. Light the end of the wand and wave the smoke into all of the corners of your space.
